Unlocking Creative Storytelling Through Cutting-Edge Technology Join Immersive Enterprise Laboratories (IEL) for a behind-the-scenes look at how Unreal Engine and a real-time, non-linear workflow are transforming animation storytelling. Powered by leading technologies from HP and NVIDIA, IEL will bring you on a journey with their technology partners to show how their AI-enhanced pipeline unlocks rapid iteration, visual fidelity, and creative freedom, enabling stories to evolve beyond the traditional screen and into new, immersive formats.

IEL’s Mission Build new ways to tell stories, faster, cheaper, and more creatively, without compromising quality. That means empowering artists, directors, and even improvisers to explore stories in ways they never could before. Efficient Cost-Effective High Quality

● Non-destructive workflow What is Non-Linear? ● Non-silo approach to workflow ● Iteration of ideas at any point ● Allows creative to explore ● Make mistakes fast and cheap

9.

The Workflow. Let's walk through a few examples of how we craft our stories with a non-linear pipeline.

40.

Building characters with Ozone Story Tech. Ozone Story Tech has been a gamechanger for us. Allowing us to create animated characters of anything. If we need a talking trash can, Ozone can make that happen. Also, we rig our characters once and deploy them anywhere.

42.

Bringing our characters to life with JALI Research. JALI Research allows us to get characters facial animation moving within minutes. This gives us the ability to work in context when recording performances. We can see how a performance affects a character.

47.

Live Performance Capture with House of Moves. House of Moves has been a gamechanger for us.

50.

Non-Linear Storytelling of Fate or Fortune. Fate or Fortune an Unscripted animation project

53.

Shooting Coverage with PeelDev for Fate or Fortune. We used Switchboard to trigger two computers with the same project so we could record coverage with two virtual cameras

56.

How do we edit Coverage? We can edit in Unreal Engine, Adobe Premiere Pro, or whatever our editor prefers. We export an EDL file from Adobe Premiere Pro into Unreal Engine to sync the sequence with our edit.

57.

Editing Coverage for Fate or Fortune with Quickture. We’ve also been experimenting with Quickture, an AI-assisted editing tool that helps sort, tag, and assemble shots. Think of it as a supercharged assistant editor that never sleeps and always wants feedback.

60.

Live Performance Capture Mixed with Virtual Production LED Wall with Stray Vista. Stray Vista has been a game-changer for us.

62.

Final Animation, Finishing, and Beyond. We’re just getting started. Our final animation phase takes all this work and polishes it to the finish line. More importantly, our process keeps the door open. To iteration. To collaboration. To imagination.

64.

Why Pro Hardware? We took Outpost, Ruby, and Fate or Fortune, and ran them on the HP Z6 G5 A desktop workstation with professional graphics and processor* to compare performance with our old custom machine which has a gaming graphics card. * NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition GPU and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7985WX CPU Hands-on Product demos at the HP booth in the Exhibit Hall

65.

Pro Hardware Benefits More Power/Speed – Increased frame rate and our software opens quicker, which allows us to get back up and running faster More Memory – 96GB of VRAM allows us to build on a level we couldn’t before More Stability – fewer crashes, fewer glitches, more consistent results; which saves time, and in production, time is money Hands-on Product demos at the HP booth in the Exhibit Hall

68.

Thank you!
